NBA Player Prop for Monday, November 3

Duncan Robinson (DET) Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers at Memphis (+102)

Memphis is on the second leg of a back-to-back after falling in Toronto on Sunday, and we are looking for the Pistons’ offense to exploit some weaknesses in the Grizzlies’ defense. Memphis is bottom-5 in three-point percentage allowed so far this season as the Grizzlies’ defense ranks bottom-10 in most major metrics. Memphis has given up the second-most points per game to opposing shooting guards and the Grizzlies have allowed the sixth-most three-pointers to opposing shooting guards.

Robinson has gone a combined 9-for-17 from three-point range across Detroit’s last three games after going 6-for-20 to open the season. With the Grizzlies’ leading man-to-man defender Jaylen Wells likely drawing the assignment of Cade Cunningham and Jaren Jackson Jr. still doing a decent job of defending the paint, that should leave Robinson with plenty of opportunities to capitalize from the perimeter against the Grizzlies’ weaker defenders.

NBA Betting Trends for Monday, November 3

#553 Milwaukee Bucks at #554 Indiana Pacers

Milwaukee covered the spread in all four regular season meetings last year, but it was a different story in the postseason as the Packers eliminated the Bucks in five games. Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Saturday. Since going to overtime against the Thunder in the season opener, the under is 4-1 in Indiana’s games.

#555 Minnesota Timberwolves at #556 Brooklyn Nets

Minnesota has won each of the last five meetings, including a pair of victories last year by 15 and 26 points. All five of those Timberwolves’ wins stayed under the total. Brooklyn is on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing at home to the Sixers on Sunday. The Nets are still searching for their first win. Minnesota had an extra day to rest and travel after winning in Charlotte on Saturday.

#557 Washington Wizards at #558 New York Knicks

The Knicks have won each of the last nine meetings in this Eastern Conference matchup. New York won last year’s four contests by an average of 17.8 points per game with the over going 3-0-1 in those four meetings. New York is on the second leg of a back-to-back after beating Chicago at home on Sunday. Washington had an extra day to rest and prep for this one. Washington has dropped its last four games by an average of 20.3 points per game.

#559 Utah Jazz at #560 Boston Celtics

Boston has won each of the last five meetings, but Utah did cover the spread as a double-digit ‘dog in Boston last season. The Jazz are on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing in Charlotte on Sunday. Utah’s last four opponents have scored an average of 128.5 points per game.

#561 Detroit Pistons at #562 Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis has won-and-covered each of the last nine meetings in this cross-conference matchup, but the Pistons can’t ask for a better spot to snap that streak. The Grizzlies have lost three of their last four as turmoil has already hit the locker room in Memphis. Star guard Ja Morant was suspended from yesterday’s loss in Toronto after poor behavior during Friday’s loss to the Lakers. Morant is expected to play tonight, but this is still a tough spot for the Grizzlies.

This will be Memphis’ fifth game in eight days on a run that has taken them from California to Canada. Detroit has won-and-covered four of its last five games.

#563 Dallas Mavericks at #564 Houston Rockets

This has been an evenly-matched series over the last two years with both teams going 4-4 straight-up and against the spread. Three of the four meetings last year stayed comfortably under the total as those four games saw an average of 217.3 points per game. Neither team played on Sunday, so this is one of the few games on Monday’s slate that does not feature a team on a back-to-back. Houston has won-and-covered its last three games with all three of those contests going over the total.

#565 Sacramento Kings at #566 Denver Nuggets

Denver won all four meetings last season, going 3-1 against the spread. The Nuggets did not play over the weekend, so they are well-rested for this one. This is the fourth and final game of a roadtrip for the Kings, who managed to earn point spread covers against the Thunder and Bucks on this trek.

#567 Los Angeles Lakers at #568 Portland Trailblazers

This is a rematch of a game that just took place last Monday with Portland earning a 122-108 road win in Los Angeles. Luka Doncic did not play in last Monday’s contest, but LA may be short-handed again tonight as the Lakers are on the second leg of a back-to-back. Six of the Lakers’ seven games have gone over the total thus far.

#569 Miami Heat at #570 Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers have won-and-covered each of the last four meetings. We’ve got a large rest disparity in this one as Los Angeles had the whole weekend off, while Miami is on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing to the Lakers on Sunday. Since the Intuit Dome opened at the beginning of last season, the Clippers are 35-12 straight-up at home.
