Best NBA Prop Pick #1: De’Aaron Fox (SA) Over 25.5 Points + Assists (-130)

The Jazz have allowed a whopping 134.4 ppg across their last five games as they head into San Antonio for a game against the Spurs today.

De’Aaron Fox notched 37 points + assists in the Spurs 126-123 home win over the Timberwolves with Utah allowing the most points per game and second most assists per game to point guards over the last 15 days.

Fox hasn’t played against the Jazz this season yet but in his last four games against them he averaged 37.7 points + assists.

Utah runs at the third fastest pace in the league and if you include the fact that their dead last in defensive efficiency, it should equate to additional possessions on offense which could result in a Fox bucket or assist of some sort.

Fox is averaging 26.5 points + assists against Western Conference foes already this season and shooting 58% from the field in his last three games so let’s take the Spurs point guard to go over 25.5 points + assists in what should be a high scoring game for the Spurs tonight.

Best NBA Prop Pick #2: Jaylen Brown (BOS) Over 30.5 Points (+100)

Jaylen Brown is having his best season as a Celtic averaging 29.7 ppg on the season and 30.8 ppg through eight games in January.

We’re going to take him to go over 30.5 points averaging 36 ppg in the three head-to-head matchups with the Pistons this season.

The Celtics could be without Payton Pritchard again for this matchup with Brown pouring in 41 points without him in the 132-106 win at Atlanta on Saturday.

Now don’t get us wrong the Pistons have been playing excellent defense all season ranking second in defensive efficiency, but even in the three head-to-head matchups where Boston only averaged 111 ppg, Brown was still able to put up big numbers.

Brown has been able to have the best scoring season of his career so far based on getting to the free throw line much more averaging 7.3 free throw attempts per game which is two more attempts per game more than any season before this with Detroit giving up the most free throw attempts per game of any team in the NBA this season.

Look for the Pistons to keep deploying their aggressive defense with Brown averaging 12 free throw attempts per game against Detroit this season already. Look for the Boston guard to keep the Celtics in it in Detroit tonight going over 30.5 points.
