MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Christian Yelich, Brewers OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-110)

Christian Yelich is riding a 12-game hitting streak and he’s covered this HRR line in 9 of his last 10 games including each of his last four games.

Yelich just managed to clear this line in all three home games against the Colorado Rockies this weekend despite going only 3-14 (.214).

Now Yelich gets another look at Clay Holmes who he’s gone 3-5 against with two doubles and two free passes.

Holmes has been very reliable in his first season as a starting pitcher but generally he’s only good for 5 or 6 innings pitched tops.

That could expose an extremely vulnerable bullpen that ranks 27th in ERA (5.25), 28th in WHIP (1.50) and 27th in wOBA (.339) during the last 30 days.

Yelich has thrived on the road where he’s covered this HRR line in 59% of his games compared to only 43% of his games at home.

We do have a potential for rain but if we can dance around the rain drops the wind will be blowing out a 10 mph.

Citi Field is a bigger ballpark, but Yelich is the type of hitter who could take advantage of that with some well-placed hits. 

MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Bobby Witt Jr., Royals OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140)

Bobby Witt Jr is on fire at the dish recently with 2+ HRR in 12 of his last 14 games. That includes each of his last four games where Witt has gone a combined 7-18 (.389) with a home run and two doubles.

Now Witt Jr gets another look at Emerson Hancock who he’s gone 1-3 against with a grand slam home run.

Hancock is an extremely vulnerable starting pitcher who has allowed 74 hits (15 HR) across 71.1 innings pitched resulting in a 5.30 ERA and 1.42 WHIP.

Hancock has also been worse at home where he’s logged a 5.76 ERA across 29.2 innings of work. Witt Jr has also wreaked havoc against multiple members of the Seattle bullpen in short sample sizes including Matt Barsh (4-6), Eduard Bazardo (1-1) and Casey Legumina (1-1).

Witt Jr as thrived on the road where he’s recorded 2+ HRR in 7 of his last 8 games and 61% of his games on the season. Look for that to continue tonight against Hancock and company.
