Jonathan Aranda let us down with a 0-5 effort yesterday, but we’ll consider that to be an outlier game, and he has a great matchup again tonight.

Aranda has been feasting on right-handed pitching while posting a .296 batting average, .542 slugging percentage and .205 ISO. Now Aranda gets another look at Jack Flaherty who he’s gone 2-4 against with a home run and a free pass.

Flaherty has been very reliable in the past, but he’s struggled in 2026 while posting a 0-7 record, 5.81 ERA and 1.61 WHIP. The Tiger starter was hammered for 8 earned runs on 6 hits across only 2.1 innings of work on the road against Tampa during the 2025 campaign. 

That game was at different venue, but the Rays will be playing at home tonight and Aranda has covered this line in 18/28 games (64%) at Tropicana Field while averaging 2.6 HRR per game. Flaherty will be backed by a bullpen that ranks 19th in ERA (4.29).

MLB Player Props Today for Tuesday: Brandon Marsh Philadelphia Phillies OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)

Brandon Marsh is in his prime and he currently ranks #3 batting average (.317) and is tied for 6th in OPS (.821) while covering this HRR line in 4 of his last 6 games and 57% of his games on the season.

Now Marsh gets another crack at Randy Vasquez who he’s gone 3-3 against with a free pass. Vasquez just faced the Phillies last week and he allowed 4 earned runs on 3 home runs across 5.2 innings of work.

The Padres starter has posted a strong 3.28 ERA on the season, but his underlying metrics tell us that he is due for regression as his xERA sits at 6.21 (5th percentile).

Marsh has thrived at home where he’s cleared this line in 17/29 games (59%) while averaging 2.1 HRR per game. San Diego does have an elite bullpen, but Marsh is projected to bat cleanup tonight so he should get a couple of looks at Vasquez and we are just looking for an RBI single.
