MLB Home Run Props Today: Best HR Picks, Predictions & Bets

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #1: Mookie Betts (LAD) +630

It was somewhat of another down power year for Mookie Betts, but he started to pick it up near the end of the regular season blasting seven of his 23 total home runs in September as we’ll take him to cash his home run props in Game 3 of the Dodgers vs Braves NLDS.

He’s slugging .674 over the last 30 days and looking for his first post season home runs since his 2024 run with LA. Lefty Chris Sale takes the mound for Atlanta and we can’t lie he’s been almost flawless this season allowing just ten home runs in 162.2 innings pitched.

Although Sale closed out the Phillies in their series clinching win, he did allow three earned runs in 6.1 innings in his start during that series.

All-time in the post season Sale’s numbers are mediocre sporting a 5.83 ERA while allowing seven home runs in 12 total games. All-time Betts is 7-18 with three doubles and a home run against Sale with the Braves starter giving up nine of his ten home runs to right handed batters this season.

Sale pitched a complete game shutout against the Dodgers back on August 27th so LA has the chance to fix the mistakes made during that start and get to him this time around.

Betts has been the leadoff batter for the Dodgers during the first two games of the series so given that’s the case tonight he should see five at-bats in this game. Take Betts at +630 to cash his home run props tonight with other Dodgers to consider being Shohei Ohtani (+440) and Freddie Freeman (+820).

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #2: Manny Machado (SD) +490

It’s win or go home for the Padres tonight as they’ll look to get some offense going after scoring just five total runs in the first two games of their NLDS with the Brewers.

Manny Machado has had a solid post season so far batting .385 and slugging .769 as we’ll go with him to cash his home run props tonight. Machado had 30 home runs in total this season with 12 of them coming at home and 25 coming against right handed pitching.

Righty Dustin May takes the mound for Milwaukee and although he only allowed 14 home runs in 145.2 innings this season, four of those came over his last five regular season starts (17 IP) including one allowed in three straight starts.

Machado and May have had some history with one another with the Padres third baseman going 10-42 with two doubles and two home runs in his career against May.

Machado has 13 career post season home runs in 55 games so let’s take him to cash his home run props tonight in hopes of keeping San Diego alive in the playoffs. Other Padres to consider for home run props includes Fernando Tatis Jr. (+490) and Ty France (+710).
