Manny Machado has been on a hot streak as of late hitting a home run in three of his last five games while sporting a .576 slugging percentage in May. Machado doesn’t have a home run against Alcantra in his career but he does have six hits in nine at bats.

Alcantara has given up four home runs combined across his last four starts and should he get pulled from the game before Machado hits a home run, the Padres third baseman does have a home run off Marlins relievers Anthony Bender and Calvin Faucher in his career.

Take Machado at +500 to hit a home run today against the Marlins with other Padres batters to look at for a home run include Fernando Tatis Jr. (+350) and Gavin Sheets (+600).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Ronald Acuna Jr. (ATL) +500

Don’t get us wrong, Zack Wheeler has been on an absolute tear as of late not allowing an earned run in his last three starts (19.2 IP), but we think that changes today as the Phillies host the Braves.

Ronald Acuna Jr. came back from injury last Friday and hit a home run on the first pitch he saw and has been on fire since.

He’s batting .313 in four games this season to go along with a .750 slugging percentage which includes a hit in every game.

Two of Wheeler’s last three starts have come against the Pirates and Athletics with Acuna Jr. going 12-47 with four home runs in his career against the Phillies starter.

While Wheeler is 6-1 with a 2.42 ERA on the season, he has coughed up eight home runs giving up one every 20 at bats against righties and one every 50 at bats against lefties on the year.

With how hot Acuna Jr. is coming into this game, we get excellent odds at +500 for him to hit a home run tonight. Other Braves hitters to consider for a home run include Austin Riley (+480) and Marcell Ozuna (+450).
