It’s the Battle of Ohio as the Guardians and Reds kick off a three-game series in Cincinnati tonight as the Reds send righty Brady Singer to the mound.

We’re going to ride the hot bat of Jose Ramirez in this one as he looks to hit a home run for a third straight game.

Sure, it doesn’t happen often that a player hits a home run in three straight games, but his splits against Singer are hard to ignore.

Ramirez is 12-27 with three home runs all-time against Singer with Ramirez now batting .372 in May to go along with a .651 slugging percentage.

The Guardians third baseman has also been more efficient with his offense on the road this season batting .333 with a .606 slugging percentage on the road compared to a .265 average and .434 slugging percentage at home.

Singer has allowed a home run in each of his last six starts including his last which was a dreadful start in Houston going 2.1 innings while allowing seven earned runs.

Take Ramirez to hit a home run tonight at +350 with other Guardians to consider for a home run being Bo Naylor (+420) and Gabriel Arias (+680) who is 2-4 with a home run off Singer all time.

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Riley Greene (DET) +340

Bowden Francis is tied for second among all MLB pitchers in home runs given up this season at 12 as he and the Blue Jays welcome in the Tigers to the Rogers Centre for a three-game set.

Tigers batters have minimal experience against him, but eight of his 12 home runs given up have come and home with nine of 12 coming against left handed batters.

With that, we’re going to look at lefty Riley Greene to smack his 11th home run tonight hitting nine of ten home runs off righties this season.

He has hit six of ten home runs on the road and during night games is slugging .648 on the season. He had a home run in the Tigers series finale against Boston on Wednesday and is used to hitting his home runs in bunches with already two different instances of multi-home run games.

Greene is batting .304 this month to go along with a .609 slugging percentage as the Tigers outfielder looks to extend his five-game hitting streak.

In his last two home starts Francis has gone a combined 7.1 innings pitched while allowing 11 earned runs including six home runs given up.

Take Greene to hit a home run tonight at +340 with other Tigers to consider for a home run being Kerry Carpenter (+300), but if you want value, Colt Keith (+500) is one to consider hitting all four of his home runs on the road this season and all four against righties as well.
