Spencer Torkelson (DET) +320

Spencer Torkelson has somewhat cooled off so far in June hitting just one home run so far as the Tigers play at Baltimore tonight.

The Orioles send lefty Cade Povich to the mound. Povich didn’t allow a home run in his last start but allowed one in three of four starts prior to that.

He has allowed eight home runs in just 27.1 innings pitched at home this season while allowing righties to bat .297 against him.

Torkelson has been excellent against left handed pitching this season batting .262 to go with a .623 slugging percentage compared to a .228 average and .455 slugging percentage against righties.

Torkelson has 15 home runs on the season with eight coming on the road and he’s almost half way to notching his career high for home runs in a season at 31.

It’s worth noting that Povich has a 6.19 ERA during night games allowing eight of his nine home runs as well.

Take Torkelson to hit a home run tonight at Camden Yards with odds listed at +310 with other Tigers batters to consider for a home run being Riley Greene (+350) and Gleyber Torres (+430).

MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Junior Caminero (TB) +360

Tampa Bay came away with a 10-8 win in extra innings last night in Boston which brings their record to 9-3 across their last 12 games.

Junior Caminero had a run scored and RBI in the game as we think he has a great chance to hit his 16th home run of the season tonight.

Righty Lucas Giolito starts for Boston who has been mediocre at best at home this season. He has allowed four of his six total home runs to come at home while sporting a 10.47 ERA and allowing opponents to bat .438.

Caminero and Giolito have never gone head to head before but the Red Sox starter has allowed righties to bat .347 with a .528 slugging percentage this season.

The Rays third baseman bats .271 against righties on the season while sporting a .547 slugging percentage compared to lefties batting .222 with a .403 slugging percentage.

Caminero hasn’t hit great on the road this season in general but in their last road series at Houston he went 7-17 with three home runs and 11 RBIs.

Take Caminero to hit a home run at +360 with other Rays batters to consider for a home run include Brandon Lowe (+400) and Jonathan Aranda (+480).
