Although Madden has been efficient in minimal work this season, he has had his struggles against lefties allowing them to bat .300 against him this season.

In 2024 when he pitched 23 innings in the MLB he allowed a .326 average and .522 slugging percentage against lefties compared to a .222 average and .267 slugging percentage against righties. Aranda has a hit in eight straight games and is slugging .526 at home this season compared to a .476 slugging percentage on the road.

Veteran Mike Trout is slugging .526 across the last week as we’ll take him to hit his home run prop at home tonight. On the season Trout has been a better hitter on the road but they get to welcome in the Rockies tonight who send lefty Kyle Freeland to the mound.

Although Trout and Freeland have both played 10+ years, they’ve only crossed paths nine times with Trout belting a home run in one of those instances.

Sure, Trout’s power isn’t the same as it was back in the 2010s but Freeland has been dreadful this season. The Rockies starter has allowed 12 home runs in total this season with five of those coming across the last two starts and ten combined home runs coming in his last 21.2 innings pitched!

He has allowed righties to hit .331 to go along with a .614 slugging percentage and sports a 8.10 road ERA giving up seven home runs in 23.1 innings pitched away from Coors Field.

It’s worth noting that the Rockies bullpen has given up 34 home runs this season which is tied for fourth most in the MLB this season as well. Take Trout hit a home run at +330 odds as the Angels return home after a six game road trip.
