Salvador Perez (KC) +375
Salvador Perez has been great this season, and he has a great matchup to go yard today. Salvador has not gone yard since May 29th, but we expect that to change tonight. On the season, Perez is batting .308 against lefties, thought just two of his 10 home runs have come against left-handed pitching. He has a 136 wCR+, a .350 BABIP, and a .173 ISO against lefties. Given these splits and the fact he is facing a lefty, this is one of the best home run prop bets on the board.
Perez is 9-20 in his career off of Carlos Rodon, with two home runs and a double, and we expect him to add a home run to that today. He has an average exit velocity of 91.5 miles per hour and an average launch angle of 22.6 degrees off of Rodon. Ten of the 11 home runs Rodon has allowed this season have come against right-handed batters, making this one of the best home run prop bets on the board today.
Jose Altuve (HOU) +625
Jose Altuve hit a home run last night, and we like him to hit one today in the Bay. Altuve has ten home runs this season, and his 11th should be in his sights today on the road. Altuve has a solid matchup today against Kyle Harrison.
Kyle Harrison is making the start for the Giants at their home park, which is a pitcher’s park, but we still like Altuve to go yard. Harrison has been solid this season, but he has allowed ten home runs this season, and eight of them have come to right-handed batters. Altuve has never seen Harrison before, and while two of his ten homers have come off lefties, Harrison lets up a lot of home runs.
