The 2025 LIV Golf Virginia tournament is set to take place from June 6–8 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.

This marks the first time LIV Golf will visit this venue, a course renowned for its challenging design and scenic beauty.

Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course is often referred to as his “masterpiece.” Opened in 1991, it has hosted prestigious events such as the Presidents Cup and the Solheim Cup.

The par-71 layout spans 7,418 yards, featuring a mix of demanding holes and scoring opportunities. Notably, the par-3 11th hole is a standout, with its green extending into Lake Manassas, providing both a visual treat and a strategic challenge.

Additionally, the drivable par-4 10th hole offers players a risk-reward scenario that could influence leaderboard standings.

The tournament format will follow LIV Golf’s standard 54-hole, no-cut structure with shotgun starts each day. The event boasts a $25 million purse, with $20 million allocated for individual competition and $5 million for team play.

Top contenders include Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Joaquin Niemann, all of whom are vying for crucial points in the season-long standings.

For spectators, the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club offers a picturesque setting with its rolling fairways and lakeside views.

LIV Golf Virginia 2025 Predictions: Top 10 Finish

Patrick Reed +165

Reed hasn’t been great on LIV this year, but he’s improving drastically as he started off the season 44th, 37th, 10th, 25th, but his last 3 tournaments on LIV he’s finished 4th, 17th, and 7th, and he’s now 4th on the tour in total strokes gained with his weakness being driving distance, but that shouldn’t be that big of a punishment on this course. This is too good of a price to pass up.

LIV Golf Virginia 2025 Predictions: Matchup

Charl Schwartzel +102 over Abraham Ancer

I don’t get this line at all. Schwartzel has better putting, off the tee, and much better approach, and Ancer has finished 46th, 26th, and 39th the last 3 tourneys, much worse than his previous 3 tourneys so he’s regressing.

Schwartzel has finished ahead ov Ancer in those 3 tournaments, so I’ll gladly take the plus money here on Charl.
