MLB Home Run Props Today: Best HR Picks, Predictions & Bets

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #1: Munetaka Murakami (CHW) +360

The White Sox suffered their first loss of the post season yesterday at home 9-3 to the Guardians last night as they look to close out Cleveland once again tonight at home.

Munetaka Murakami went 0-4 with three strikeouts yesterday, but we have an encouraging pitching matchup in which we think the White Sox rookie can cash his home run props tonight.

Lefty Parker Messick takes the mound for the Guardians and although Murakami has had his struggles against left-handed batters this season, all-time against Messick he’s 3-6 with two home runs including a home run in Game 1 of this series.

Messick allowed just 17 home runs in 186.1 innings this season but 11 of those 17 home runs came on the road. He allowed a .245 average and .388 slugging percentage to left handed batters like Murakami this season compared to a .206 average and .338 slugging percentage allowed to righties.

Although runs could come at a premium tonight, let’s go with Murakami at +360 to hit his home run props tonight. Other White Sox batters to consider for home run props includes Miguel Vargas (+430) and Randal Grichuk (+590).

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #2: Jo Adell (CLE) +490

Although the Guardians haven’t been known for their home run hitting this season, it’s somewhat hard to believe they don’t have a home run as a team yet through three games this post season especially considering the White Sox gave up the fifth most home runs of any MLB team during the regular season.

With that we’re going to take shot with Jo Adell to hit his home run props in this win or go home game for the Guardians. Hagen Smith is slated to be the opener for the White Sox who actually pitched 0.2 innings allowing one earned run. Jo Adell was responsible for that run as the Guardians outfielder went 2-4 with three RBIs and now has a triple in back-to-back games.

Adell should get at least one crack against Smith batting cleanup and against left handed pitching Adell batted .320 to go along with a .599 slugging percentage compared to a .209 average and .323 slugging percentage against righties.

With this being a bullpen game for Chicago it’s worth noting that almost half of their pitching staff is left handed so Adell should at least get another at-bat or two against a lefty after Smith leaves the game.

Cleveland is going to need another offensive showing today to keep this series alive so take Adell to hit his home run props at +490 odds today. Other Guardians to consider for home run props are Jose Ramirez (+540) and Chase DeLauter (+680).
