This series against Colorado hasn’t gone the way Ben Rice has wanted it to for him personally going 0-6 so far but we think that changes tonight as they Yankees go for the sweep of the Rockies in New York.

He did start out the month going 9-17 with a home run as we’ll look for Rice to cash his home run props in the series finale. Over the last 15 days Rice is batting .320 with the Rockies sending righty Ryan Feltner to the mound.

Feltner hasn’t actually allowed a home run across his last three starts (14.2 IP) shockingly but he has allowed nine earned runs during that time along with 18 hits.

Eight of his 19 home runs have come on the road in 47 innings pitched and he has allowed a .293 average along with a .507 slugging percentage to left handed hitters like Rice this season.

Rice is just four home runs away from 40 on the season and if he wants to make it there with limited games left he has to rediscover his power.

Tonight is a perfect place to start while also going against one of, if not the worst bullpen in the league. Take Rice at +255 odds to hit his home run props tonight with other Yankees to consider for home run props being Aaron Judge (+200) and Spencer Jones (+300).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Munetaka Murakami (CHW) +310

The dog days of summer hit Munetaka Murakami hard with the rookie’s average plummeting from .244 on August 1st to .210 heading into tonight’s Pirates vs White Sox matchup in Chicago.

He has started to pick it back up as of late with a hit in three of his last for games with two of those hits being home runs back on Saturday against the Twins and in last night’s 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh.

We’re going to take Murakami to hit his home run props tonight as he’s had a tendency to hit his home runs in bunches with two different instances of a home run in three straight game and a separate instance of a home run in five straight games.

Righty Jared Jones takes the mound for the Pirates allowing 12 home runs in 78.2 innings this season with seven of his 12 home runs allowed coming against left handed hitters.

Jones was solid in his last start against the Angels but in his five starts before that had allowed five combined home runs in just 20.2 innings.

Murakami has hit 31 home runs this season with 25 of them coming against right handed pitchers and 17 of 31 coming at home. With that being said let’s take Murakami to hit his home run props tonight at +310 odds. Other White Sox batters to look at for home run props includes Colson Montgomery (+360) and Miguel Vargas (+540).
