Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #1: Isaac Paredes (HOU) +570

It’s win or go home for the Astros as they dropped Game 1 of their AL Wildcard series to the White Sox yesterday 6-3 and looking to bounce back today.

We’ll take a shot with Isaac Paredes to hit his home run props tonight at valuable odds after hitting eight home runs and slugging .616 during the final month of the regular season.

Houston will once again be playing at home where Paredes hit 14 of his 25 home runs and his 25 home runs in total this season the most by him since he had 31 with the Rays back in 2023.

Righty Sean Burke takes the mound for Chicago who was actually solid in September for Chicago allowing just one home run in his last five starts but before that allowed a home run in five straight starts.

All-time against Burke, Paredes is 3-9 with two doubles with the White Sox bullpen giving up the seventh most home runs of any bullpen in the MLB this season and their pitching staff overall tied for the ninth most home runs given up since the all-star break.

Burke is a righty in which Paredes hit 21 of his 25 home runs off right handed pitching this season and Burke allowing seven of his 19 total home runs on the road in 69.2 innings pitched.

With that, let’s take Paredes at +570 to hit his home run props tonight with other Astros batters to consider for home run props being Yordan Alvarez (+310) and Christian Walker (+390).

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #2: Ben Rice (NYY) +320

Yankees DH Ben Rice kicked off his post season with a bang last night in their 9-0 win over Boson going 4-5 with two home runs as we’ll look for him to keep a hot bat and hit his home run props once again tonight.

He capped off the regular season batting .333 and slugging .605 in September including six home runs with Red Sox ace Sonny Gray taking the mound for Game 2.

Sure, Gray has been excellent this season going 18-5 with a 2.72 ERA, but he has had his struggles against Rice specifically with the Yankees slugger going 3-7 with two home runs all-time against him.

Of the 16 home runs Gray has allowed this season ten of them have come against lefties and Rice doing most of his damage against right handed pitching blasting 30 of his 41 home runs and slugging .578 against them compared to a .452 slugging percentage against lefties.

Look at Rice to cash his home run props at +320 odds and if if you’re looking at other Yankees for home run props consider Spencer Jones (+410) and Trent Grisham (+440).
