We normally wouldn’t recommend a home run prop in a lefty vs lefty matchup but the data shows there a solid chance that it can happen in tonight’s Red Sox vs Rays matchup in Tampa Bay.

We’re going to take Wilyer Abreu to cash his home run props tonight who is currently batting .304 and slugging .497 against left handed pitchers this season compared to batting .232 and slugging .442 against righties.

He has seen his power go down over the last month or so, but has loved playing Tampa Bay this season going 9-35 against them with five of those hits coming as home runs.

Those five home runs are the most against any single team for him this season as Tampa Bay sends lefty Ian Seymour to the mound. He’s allowing left handed batters to hit .250 to go along with a .512 slugging percentage compared to a .216 average and .405 slugging percentage against right handed hitters.

Seymour has allowed 23 home runs on the season with 13 of those coming at home and all-time against Seymour, Abreu is 1-3 with a home run.

Let’s take Abreu’s home run props tonight at +480 with other Red Sox to consider for home run props being Jahmai Jones (+460) and Roman Anthony (+520).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Randy Arozarena (SEA) +420

Although we didn’t hit on home run props with Randy Arozarena last Friday, we’re going to go back to the well this Friday with him and take his home run props as the Mariners and Rockies start up a three-game series at Coors Field tonight.

It looks like Gabriel Hughes is getting the start for Colorado who is 0-8 on the season while sporting a 6.37 ERA and allowing a home run in six of his last eight starts.

Arozarena has done damage at the plate this month so far batting .310 and slugging .569 to go along with four home runs. He rides a six-game hitting streak into this one while hitting 16 of his 25 total home runs on the road this season and batting .307 compared to batting .243 at home.

His 25 home runs are the second most he’s had in one season for his career sitting just three short of setting a new single season high.

At max Hughes should only go five innings in this one with the Rockies bullpen allowing the tenth most home runs this season of any bullpen unit and the pitching staff overall is tied for the second most home runs allowed of the last 15 days with 23.

With Arozarena slugging .769 over the past week let’s go with him to hit his home run props tonight at +420 odds. Other Mariners to consider for home run props includes Cal Raleigh (+260) and Julio Rodriguez (+400).
