Best NFL Monday Night Football Player Props Prediction: Jaxson Dart New York Giants OVER 6.5 Rushing Attempts (-106)

Jaxson Dart has covered this line in 7 of his 13 career starts (54%) while also landing on 6 rush attempts twice and 5 attempts twice.

That includes Dart’s Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys where he recorded 11 rushing attempts for 54 yards. Now three of those attempts were on kneel downs with the Giants leading wire-to-wire and he likely won’t see those carries in Week 2 with the Rams being near touchdown favorites.

However, five of those carries occurred on scrambles and I would argue that we will see more of those as Dart will be in more passing situations. Brock Purdy finished with 29 rushing yards on 5 carries against the Rams in Week 1 and he doesn’t see nearly as many designed runs as Jaxson Dart.

Aaron Donald is expected to return to action, and his interior pressure could force an athletic quarterback like Dart out of the pocket when coverage holds downfield. Dart has averaged 6 designed runs per game (99th percentile), and I see multiple scramble situations on Monday night.

Best NFL Monday Night Football Player Props Prediction: Blake Corum Los Angeles Rams OVER 47.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

Blake Corum shined in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers as he recorded 10 rushing attempts for 54 yards despite playing only 23% of the offensive snaps.

I fully expect an uptick in those snaps as both head coach Sean McVay and offensive coordinator Nate Scheelhaase were very complimentary of Corum heading into Week 2. The game script was also against Corum in Week 1 with Los Angeles trailing for the entire game but this week the Rams are near touchdown favorites.

The New York Giants run defense looked much better, but they dominated the time of possession against Dallas while holding the ball for 36:40 and the Cowboys only had 2 possessions in the 2nd half while trailing.

Corum was much more efficient back for Los Angeles as Kyren Williams averaged only 3.7 yards per carry and he should more opportunities on Monday night.
