DJ Moore shined in his Buffalo Bills debut while grabbing 5 receptions for 100 receiving yards and touchdown. Moore led the Bills receiving room in snap rate (76%) and targets (8).

In 2025, the Detroit Lions allowed the 8th most yards to opposing wide receivers with an average of 155.5 per game. Away from Ford Field, Detroit allowed 7.6 yards per pass attempts and a 102.3 QB rating compared to 6.9 and 84.1 marks respectively at home.

Just last week, we watched Chris Olave torch the Lions for 10 receptions and 182 yards as the New Orleans Saints top option. The Lions allowed 410 total passing yards in that game, and we have a monstrous total sitting at 54.5 so there will be plenty opportunities to eclipse this number.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Josh Allen Buffalo Bills OVER 31.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Josh Allen is going to be amped up in his first game at Highmark Stadium, and he always likes to run more in high profile games. In 2025, Allen recorded 30+ rushing yards in both of his playoff games and in high profile meetings with Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Cincinnati and New England (twice).

The Detroit Lions blitzed at the 3rd highest rate in the league during Week 1 so Allen will see opportunities on both scrambles and designed runs.

The Lions defense is banged up with Brian Branch & Kerby Joseph on the PUP and DJ Reed being listed as questionable. Detroit allowed the 8th most rushing attempts to opposing quarterbacks last season while ranking 22nd in EPA/rush.

Last season, the Lions ran man coverage at the 2nd highest rate in the NFL and when Allen faced teams ranked top 10 in man coverage he cleared this line in 5/6 games.

Allen ran the ball 6 times for 23 yards against Houston last week and now he gets a better matchup in a spot where he will be looking to shine.
