Seattle starting pitcher Kade Anderson’s career has gotten off to a rocky start allowing three home runs combined across his first three starts (15 IP) as we’ll look to fade him today by taking Jake Burger to cash his home run props.

The Rangers first baseman has smashed 25 home runs on the season and doing a lot of damage to left handers like Anderson by hitting .271 and slugging .574 against them compared to a .226 average and .380 slugging percentage against right handers.

He has hit 16 of his 25 home runs on the road this season and is a much better hitter during day games batting .290 and slugging .538 compared to night games batting .210 and slugging just .375.

Two of Anderson’s first three starts have come at home where he has allowed all three of his home runs and has allowed two of three home runs to right handed batters as well.

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Luis Garcia Jr. (NYY) +350

Yankees first baseman Luis Garcia Jr. has only hit five home runs since being acquired by the team back on August 2nd, but four of those five home runs have come at home as we’ll look for him to hit his home run props tonight facing the Rockies.

Tomoyuki Sugano takes the mound for Colorado having given up 27 home runs in total this season with 16 of them coming on the road in 62.2 innings pitched.

That’s one home run allowed roughly every 3-4 innings as he has also allowed 20 of 27 home runs to left handed hitters like Garcia Jr. while allowing a .572 slugging percentage to them as well this season.

Garcia Jr. has been generating solid contact recently batting .316 in September so far and although his power hasn’t been there, he’s still slugging .543 across the last 15 days.

Being a member of the Nationals earlier this season he has already played a full series against the Rockies now 6-18 with a home run and slugging .611 against them as well.

Sugano has allowed just one home run in total across his last three starts combined but that home run came in his only road start during that stretch in Atlanta going four innings while also giving up ten hits and six earned runs.

With that take Garcia Jr. at +350 to hit a home run tonight. Other Yankees to consider for home run props includes Aaron Judge (+200) and Ben Rice (+230).
