Even last season Blanco allowed six of his seven home runs to left handed batters in 48.1 innings pitched so Merrill should be able to take advantage tonight with 13 of his 16 home runs coming against right handed pitching.

He has hit 16 of his 22 home runs against right handed pitching with Kelly sporting a 6.33 home ERA while allowing 12 home runs compared to a 4.27 ERA on the road.
