MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Yandy Diaz (TB) +390

The first place and last place teams in the AL East go at it tonight with lefty Connelly Early taking the mound for the Red Sox in Tampa Bay.

The Rays are coming off back-to-back losses in Miami as we’ll look for Rays DH Yandy Diaz to hit his home run props tonight. Diaz doesn’t have a hit against Early in three at-bats against him all-time but he has been doing damage to left handed pitching this season hitting .333 and slugging .544 against them while also batting .333 and slugging .646 in home games as well.

Early has been a solid pitcher thus far posting a 3.26 ERA but seven of the 11 home runs he has given up this season have come during road games and seven of his 11 coming against right handed hitting as well. Diaz doesn’t have a home run this month yet but he smacked seven in May alone while slugging .591 as well.

Over his last four starts Early has given up two home runs during three of those so let’s take the veteran Diaz to hit his home run props tonight at +390 with other Rays hitters to look at for a home run includes Junior Caminero (+320) and Jonathan Aranda (+730).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Andrew Vaughn (MIL) +320

Since returning from a hand fracture at the start of May, Andrew Vaughn has been putting the pieces together to get back on track in the power department.

We’re going to take him to cash his home run props tonight coming off a three-hit effort in Milwaukee’s 12-4 win at Colorado yesterday.

The Brewers will start up a three-game set in Las Vegas tonight taking on the Athletics who send lefty Jeffrey Springs to the mound. In just over a month of play Vaughn is hitting .519 and slugging .778 against left handed pitching this season and on the road is batting .395 to go along with a .579 slugging percentage.

In six at-bats against Springs all-time Vaughn has one hit but that hit was a home run with Springs allowing seven of his 14 home runs at home this season and 10 of his 14 home runs to right handed hitters.

Springs has also allowed six home runs combined across his last three starts (15 IP) with Vaughn hitting .385 and slugging .513 in his last 15 days so let’s go with the Brewers first baseman to hit his home run props tonight at +320 with other Brewers to consider for home runs props being Jackson Chourio (+270) and William Contreras (+390).
