MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Michael Massey (KC) +590

We’re going to go with somewhat of a long shot for our first pick as the Royals and Twins play the second of a four-game set in Minnesota tonight.

Michael Massey hit a home run in yesterday’s 8-6 win and we’re going to take him to hit his home run prop tonight hitting home runs in back to back games last Sunday and Monday as well.

Sure, Massey has never been coined as a power hitter with a career high 15 home runs with the Royals in 2023, but he currently has a hot bat batting .389 and slugging .667 over the last 15 days.

Zebby Matthews gets the start for Minnesota who although has solid splits at home, still only has four starts on the season and has given up two home runs in back-to-back starts.

Massey has gone 5-8 with a double and a home run all-time against Matthews and he also has a home run against Twins reliever Mike Paredes.

Massey has been a better hitter at home this season, but he still has three home runs and 10 RBIs each in home and away games with Matthews giving up three of his five home runs to left handed hitters.

With that, take Massey to hit his home run prop at +590 with other Royals batters to consider for home run props includes Salvador Perez (+420) and Vinnie Pasquantino (+440).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Alec Burleson (STL) +440

We head to another divisional matchup but in the NL Central as the Reds and Cardinals start up a three-game series in St. Louis. Brady Singer gets the nod for Cincinnati allowing 16 home runs in total already this season which is third most among all MLB pitchers.

All-time Alec Burleson has gone 3-7 with two doubles and a home run as we’ll look for him to cash his home run prop tonight. Burleson is in his fifth year with the Cardinals belting a career high 21 home runs in 2024 and in their most recent series against Texas he went 5-13 with two doubles and four RBIs.

He hit three home runs each in April and May and last June he hit six home runs which was the most of any month for him last season.

He has just seven home runs this season but six of those have come against right handed pitching and five of seven coming in night games.

Singer has been dreadful as of late allowing eight total home runs in his last three starts (12.2 IP) with ten of his 16 total home runs allowed coming off left handed bats while also allowing a slugging percentage of .637 to lefties. In away starts Singer posts a 7.67 ERA.

With the Cardinals coming off a win and Burleson riding a five game hitting streak let’s take him to hit his home run prop tonight at +440. Other Cardinals hitters to look at for home run props includes Nolan Gorman (+410) and JJ Wetherholt (+470).
