Springer is projected to bat leadoff tonight, and he’ll have a favorable matchup against Bailey Ober who he’s gone 6-17 (.353) against with three home runs and a double.

Ober has been a serviceable option in 2026, but he’s backed by a struggling bullpen that currently ranks 27th in ERA (5.30).

Springer has also had short term success against multiple Minnesota relievers including Anthony Banda (2-5 2-2Bs) and Eric Orze (1-1 2B).

The Blue Jays leadoff man has cleared this HRR line in 7 of his last 8 head-to-head games against the Twins and he went a combined 3-11 (.272) with two home runs in a three-game set in Minnesota last June.
