THE PLAY: Cleveland Browns +4.0 (-108)

KC -4 vs Cle (44)

• Terrible, horrible spot for the Chiefs.
• Now I know they still need to win for home field advantage, but they just beat their division rival, they just clinched the division, they have a 2 game window and they are playing a team that has nothing to lose.
• This is a text book let down spot and on top of these teams that are out of it want to beat teaks like KC - especially at home.
• For the record, KC has not covered a spread in 7 straight games and have won their last 3 games by 2, 2 and 3 points - now I know you are saying but its the Brows - well 2 of those games were against the Panthers and the Raiders.
• Plus the Browns have been playing much better since Jamies took over and I think we get their bet game of the year this Sunday.
• Bottom line is until this KC team starts winning by Margin, I am betting against them on big spreads - with that said, I am predicting the upset of the week in this game.
• Take Cle +4 and sprinkle some on the ML for me.

THE PLAY: Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 (-110)

• Imagine how good Philly would be if they had a QB - this is a team that has the best running game in the league, the best rb in the league and yet cannot set up play action passes - its so weird, but having the best RB and maybe the best WR tandem in football and putting up 108 yards in the air in a 1 score game, just doesn’t make any sense.
• Philly, literally threw for 118 yards against Balt and 108 against the Panthers, and yet I think they covers this number Sunday.
• I will say this, their D has been lights out of late. Only 1 team has scored more than 20 points on them in 9 straight games - wow - and that includes teams like Balt, the Rams, Wash and even the Bengals. They have literally played some of the highest scoring teams in the league and shut them down.
• Now, I have a self imposed ban on me betting against the Steelers for the rest of the year, but you guys don’t.
• This is what Marco calls a sandwich game for Pitt and it also is one hell of a let down spot.
• They just avenged their loss to the Browns and next up is the Ravens for what will likely be the game that decides the division.
• Pitt wins 1 more game - the Ravens game and they likely win the division.
• We hear all the time about let down spots - its hard to understand why a team can’t get up for every game - its hard to comprehend how a team like Pitt can lose to a team like the Browns, in the middle of a 7 of 8 win streak, but they did and they lost by 5.
• I absolutely love this bet and think Philly wins this game easily.
