THE PLAY: Florida Atlantic -9.5 (-110)
In this "Owl fight," I expect Florida Atlantic to have the edge. FAU had no answer for Army's run game last week. However, that shouldn't be an issue this week. Since a season-opening win against FCS Houston Christian, Rice has lost six straight. Those losses came by an average of 18.8 points. While last week wasn't its best effort, FAU which is 3-0 at home, has an extremely potent offense. The Owls average 422 yards and 35 points. They should exceed those numbers this week and Rice is unlikely to be able to keep up. *good to -11
THE PLAY: New York Rangers -132
Off back-to-back road losses, the Rangers will be happy to return home. They're a perfect 5-0 at MSG so far this season. Those games haven't really been close either. The Rangers won by scores of 5-1, 4-2, 5-2, 6-2 and 4-1. While the Rangers get a couple days off after this game, the Ducks will face the Islanders on Tuesday. Fully focused on the task at hand, look for the Rangers to bounce back and run their home record to 6-0. *good to -150
