THE PLAY: Mac Jones OVER 1.5 passing TD's

The Buccaneers’ secondary has been a major liability this season, allowing 10 passing touchdowns — the same total the 49ers have as a team, which ranks third-best in the league. Mac Jones has already thrown six touchdown passes himself and is showing better chemistry and command in this offense. Against a defense that continues to give up big plays through the air, he’s well-positioned to add to that total. Over 1.5 passing touchdowns is the play.

Pavel Dorofeyev has opened the season aggressively, recording 5 and 4 shots on goal in his first two games. He’s also had success against Seattle in the past, going over this number in two of their three previous meetings. The Kraken’s defense looked shaky in their opener, allowing 36 shots on goal, which sets up well for Dorofeyev’s current shooting volume. With his confidence high and matchup favorable, over 2.5 shots on goal is the play.

THE PLAY: Mario Pinto -110

Jhonata Diniz has managed to build a 3-1 record, but the quality of his competition leaves a lot to be desired. His wins came against a full-time engineer, a wrestler who refused to wrestle, and an opponent who was later cut from the UFC. When he finally faced legitimate competition, he was finished decisively. Diniz is slow and plodding on the feet, and his wrestling isn’t strong enough to change the fight’s dynamic. Mario Pinto, meanwhile, has real upside—he’s fast, powerful, and possesses long reach. He’s already shown strong cardio by going five rounds in previous fights, and if he tightens up his defense, he can make real noise in the division. The play here is for the fight not to go the distance, with Pinto getting the win.
