      We are laying a number here but we believe it has still came up short as the Cubs get their whacks at Bryce Elder. We have not been impressed with Elder even though he has pitched better of late. Overall he is sporting a 5.85 ERA on the season with a WHIP of 1.48. We see the Cubs having a big game against Bryce tonight. Even if Elder pitches ok we have Cade Horton on the hill for the Cubs. Cade has been lights out at home this season sporting a 1.71 ERA in 9 home starts. The Cubs do have a big lead for a wildcard berth but they will look to try and overtake Milwaukee for the division. It is September and crazy things happen in MLB. The Cubs however need to keep winning. They do have a September schedule that could make that NL Central race very close in the end.
