THE PLAY: Total Under 7.5 (-118) Y Darvish (RHP), L Webb (RHP) Must Start
All signs point towards a low-scoring game here. Oracle Park has long been known to favor the pitchers, and the Giants are the second-lowest scoring home team in all of baseball this season (just 3.63 runs per game). Sunday, they were shutout by the Nationals, who have the highest bullpen ERA (5.88) and were starting Mackenzie Gore. It'll be an even tougher matchup against the Padres, who have the #1 bullpen ERA in all of baseball. Yu Darvish, the starter tonight for San Diego, has allowed just five hits in his last two starts.
But the “silver lining” for San Francisco tonight is they have Logan Webb starting and the #2 ranked bullpen (in terms of ERA). Webb has traditionally pitched MUCH better here at home and comes in off B2B dominant starts against Pittsburgh (one home, one away) where he struck out 21 batters in 11 ⅔ IP and allowed just two runs. San Diego is 23rd in runs per game overall and averages fewer than four on the road.

Consultant Bio
After spending the previous decade at Covers Experts, Bryan Power has wasted little time establishing himself here at WagerTalk. A consistent winner since first emerging on the scene back in 2011, Power didn't have a single losing calendar year in his first decade as a pro handicapper! In April & May of this year (2022), he went on an amazing 154-99-2 (+$41,322) with all plays! October is when he truly made his mark at WT, at one point cashing 22 of 26 plays (85%).
Power handicaps football (both NFL and college), basketball (NBA and college), MLB, Soccer (most major European leagues), and the UFC. He uses a personal set of power ratings, combined with situational handicapping, to make his selections. Multiple bets per day across multiple sports are the norm. Client plays are rated 3%-5%.
