The Braves have been on an ‘under’ streak but I expect it to come to an end here. Both lineups are in the top 7 in terms of batting average. Waldron is 1-5 with a poor 5.49 ERA on the season. He's not getting any better either as he's 0-3 with an ugly 8.16 ERA his past three starts. He's given up a home run in five straight games. Fried can certainly be tough. However, he's got a 4.73 ERA in two home starts. His last home start (May 2022) vs. the Padres produced 17 runs. SD won 11-6, Fried allowing four runs on nine hits. Dating back to that game, seven of the 10 meetings between these teams have finished with at least nine runs. As long as the weather holds up, this one should get there, too.
