Cadiz vs Granada | Friday March 29 | 4:00pm ET

Cadiz +110 | Granada +275 | Draw +225

Cadiz vs Granada La Liga Prediction

Huge bottom-of-the-table relegation clash on Friday night over at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla as both Granada and Cadiz desperately try to save their seasons with only 24% of league games remaining.

Cadiz however does come off a pretty impressive result in their last home game against Atletico Madrid, beating the men from the capital 2-0, and will look to capitalize on that momentum here on Friday once again by extending their lead over chasing Granada.

The Nazaries meanwhile are on their third manager of the season so far after both Paco Lopez and Alexander Medina were fired for generating dismal results in the league, and they’ll look to roll the dice on former savior Jose Ramon Sandoval who looks to work his magic once again just as he did back in 2014/15 by saving Granada from the drop.

However, Granada faces what looks like a far more settled unit under former Valencia coach Mauricio Pellegrino here on Friday since he took charge of Cadiz back at the end of January, with the Andalusian side collecting seven points from their eight games so far under the Argentinian coach, and they’ll look to add to that tally once again in this one.

No team has a higher Under 2.5 goals occurrence in LaLiga this season than Cadiz does, with 76% of all of their games finishing with 2 goals or under. However, that dips by 12% when playing at home, so perhaps we will see some goals on Friday.

Overall, Cadiz hasn’t beaten Granada in this venue since 2018, and with the new manager bounce factored in for Granada here as well, we’ll roll with the away side in this one to potentially grab a share of the spoils on Friday.

La Liga Prediction: Granada +0.5 (-135)

Almeria vs Osasuna | Saturday March 30 | 11:15am ET

Almeria +170 | Osasuna +175 | Draw +225

Almeria vs Osasuna La Liga Prediction

Bottom-of-the-table Almeria needs a minor miracle at this point in order to survive in LaLiga for another season as they take on mid-table Osasuna at home on Saturday.

Almeria have actually only lost one of their last six games in the league overall, but the league’s highest draw rate at home this season, hitting at a massive 57%, has severely crippled them in terms of turning those solitary points into triples.

Osasuna meanwhile has started to trend in the opposite direction across recent weeks, with just one win in their last four league games, with the last two finishing in outright losses for them as well.

However, Osasuna’s only two losses across their last five road games did come against two of the best teams in the league in Girona and Barcelona respectively, so despite their recent downward trend, Osasuna definitely shouldn’t be underestimated ahead of this one.

This game really all comes down to how much Osasuna takes this game seriously on Saturday, especially with less than a quarter of the season still to play.

Bar an almighty collapse, the Navarrese club is safe from relegation and won’t make the European spots either, so there’s effectively very little to play for when it all comes down to it.

That’s not the case for Almeria however who need this game like absolute blood if they’re going to have any chance of survival in LaLiga this season.

While we don’t normally like to invest in these types of must-win scenarios on teams, there are definitely worse bets out there than taking Almeria on the pick ‘em line to avoid defeat at home this weekend against an unmotivated Osasuna side.

La Liga Prediction: Almeria PK (-110)

Real Madrid vs Athletic Club Bilbao | Sunday March 31 | 3:00pm ET

Real Madrid -180 | Athletic Club Bilbao +480 | Draw +335

Real Madrid vs Athletic Club Bilbao La Liga Prediction

Two of the best teams in the league clash on Sunday as first-placed Real Madrid hosts 4th-placed Athletic Club Bilbao over at the Bernabeu in the Spanish capital this weekend.

Madrid currently enjoys an eight-point gap at the top of the table ahead of 2nd-placed Barcelona, a sizeable advantage with so few games left to play for.

Athletic Club Bilbao meanwhile find themselves currently fighting tooth and nail against Madrid’s inner city rivals in Atletico for that final Champions League place for next season, with just one point separating the two teams ahead of the matchday 30 fixtures.

Athletic Bilbao has tended to give Real Madrid fits across recent league meetings in the Bernabeu however, with the Basque club arguably deserving to beat Madrid in their last matchup here back in June of last year, with Mikel Vesga missing a crucial penalty for the road side early on in that game before Karim Benzema managed to rescue a point for the hosts with a late penalty of his own.

Going back to their previous fixture here back in December of 2021 and it was a very similar story, with Bilbao having more attempts on goal, more blocked shots, and more dangerous attacks than Real Madrid in that game.

With Athletic Club currently getting a full goal headstart on the handicap line at the time of writing, that’s definitely the way we’re going to look in this one as Bilbao continues to be a thorn in Madrid’s side across recent league road encounters.

La Liga Prediction: Athletic Club Bilbao +1 (-115)
