First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: Raheem Mostert, Dolphins First TD (+500 or better projected line)

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert leads the NFL in rushing touchdowns by a wide margin with 16 while also adding two receiving touchdowns.

However, only one of those 18 touchdowns have been a first touchdown. That could change this week against a New York Jets team that finally scored their 2nd first touchdown (2nd least) last week against the Houston Texans.

Tyreek Hill is tied for 2nd in first touchdowns with four but he is dealing with ankle injury that kept him out of practice on Thursday.

Mostert is also dealing with a knee issue but was able to practice. The same can’t be said for his counterpart De’Von Achane who missed practice with a toe injury.

The Dolphins are still nearly double-digit favorites against the Jets this Sunday and Mostert is the most likely option with Hill & Achane both being limited or sitting all together.

First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 2: Jayden Reed, Packers First TD (+800) DK

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has caught 48 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns through the first 13 games of his rookie campaign.

Reed has also added an additional two touchdowns on the ground as he’s turned 11 carries into 119 rushing yards for an average of 10.8 per carry.

He’s now also tied for 2nd behind only Jakobi Meyers for first touchdowns with four. Reed scored first last week on a 16-yard dash against the New York Giants.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do have a stout run defense, but they rank below average with 11 touchdowns allowed to opposing wide receivers along with the 3rd most yards (2,517).

Reed is dealing with an ankle injury, but he was able to practice on Thursday. The same can’t be said for Christian Watson (hamstring) & AJ Dillon (thumb) and Aaron Jones & Dontayvion Wicks are also questionable.

Regardless Reed is projected to play and +800 is a great price as the Packers look his way more often on what seems like a weekly basis.
