First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 1: Tyreek Hill, Dolphins First TD (+450 or better projected line)

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is essentially unstoppable right now, scoring first in three straight games and recording the Dolphins first-team touchdown in five of his last six games.

Hill leads the NFL with 12 receiving touchdowns and he’s tied with Christian McCaffrey, Courtland Sutton and Jakobi Meyers for first touchdowns with six.

Last week against the Washington Commanders Hill got the Fins on the board with a 78-yard touchdown reception only five minutes into the contest. The Titans pass defense has allowed the 7th most wide receiver touchdowns on the season with 12.

The Dolphins are favored by 13 points against the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football so they will have a major advantage in recording the game’s first touchdown.

On top of that, Miami has scored first in 6 of 12 games while Tennessee has only scored first in 4 of their 12 games. Hill is chasing history as the first player to post a 2,000-yard season and he has five games to record 514 yards.

Raheem Mostert leads the league with 14 rushing touchdowns, but he’s listed as questionable so you could look towards De’Von Achane. However, Hill seems incredibly motivated and I’m not sure anyone can lock him down right now. Let’s make it a play at +450 or better.

First Touchdown Scorer Prop Prediction 2: Zach Moss, Colts First TD +425 DK / Joe Mixon, Bengals First TD +475 DK (split bet on each)

Indianapolis Colts running back Zach Moss has run for 723 rushing yards and recorded 6 all-purpose touchdowns through his first 11 games of the season.

Only one of those touchdowns were first TDs, however Johnathan Taylor was in the mix for a good portion of the season, and he recorded three first scores prior to his thumb injury. Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has run for 689 rushing yards and recorded 7 all-purpose touchdowns.

Mixon hasn’t recorded a first touchdown, but the Colts defense has been absolutely shredded on the ground. On the season, they have allowed the 6th most rushing yards (1,279) & 2nd most rushing touchdowns (13) to opposing running backs.

Same can be said for the Bengals who have allowed the 11th most yards (1,126) & 8th most touchdowns (10).

Each team allowed an opposing running back to score first as Derrick Henry and Travis Etienne both hit paydirt.

Both offenses are dealing with backup quarterbacks in Garnder Minshew and Jake Browning which has pushed them into being a run first teams.

Moss and Mixon are the two favorites to score first in this one and splitting the bet between the two is about as safe as you can get when it comes to this prop.
