NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: AJ Brown, Eagles OVER 4.5 Receptions (-136)

AJ Brown has covered this receptions line in 3 of 5 games to open the season and he’s coming off a 5-reception game after calling out Jalen Hurts for not looking his way more often.

Brown has seen 8+ targets in each of his last four games and the New York Giants have allowed 7/7 opposing wide receivers with 8+ targets eclipse this line against them.

The New York Giants have played man coverage at the 2nd highest rate in the NFL (42.7%) and Brown is highly effective against that defense.

The Giants have allowed the most receptions the receivers lined up on the outside and Brown has lined up on the outside on 91.6% of his routes.

In 2024, Brown led the NFL in regular season target share% against man coverage, and he finished 3rd in total receptions with 33.

I do see Barkley having a monster game against his former squad, but Eagles need to keep Brown involved if they want to compete down the stretch.

I see this as a get right game for the entire Philadelphia offense and Brown logged 5+ receptions in each of his three regular season prime time games during the 2024 campaign.

NFL Thursday Night Football Props Prediction: Saquon Barkley, Eagles OVER 83.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

Saquon Barkley hasn’t sniffed this total since Week 2 as he’s finished with 30, 43 and 46 during the last three weeks in some brutal matchups against the Broncos, Buccaneers and Rams.

Lucky for him, the New York Giants offer the perfect bounce back spot as they rank 29th in yards allowed per rushing attempt with 5.3 per carry.

We have already seen three running backs eclipse this number against the Giants as Jacory Croskey-Merritt ran for 82 yards, Javonte Williams ran for 97 yards and Omarion Hampton ran for 128 yards.

We also have the motivational factor of Barkley facing his former team who he ran for 176 yards against in his lone head-to-head game during the 2024 campaign.

Barkley is coming off all time low in rushing attempts since joining the Philadelphia Eagles (6 vs DEN), but he’s recorded 18+ rushing attempts in 14 of his last 16 games including 4 of 5 games during the 2025 season.

It’s a Thursday Night game so the Eagles should lean on their talented back on a short week of practice and Barkley will be licking his chops to face his former squad.
