Cincinnati is 0-4-1 ATS in their L5 games, and the total has gone under in five of their L6 games. Arizona is 5-2 ATS in their L7 games, and the total has gone over in four of their L5 games.

We knew Joe Burrow was not 100%. He was hurt for most of training camp, and it is no secret that he is not healthy.

However, this Bengals team looks to have a lot more issues than just Burrow’s health, and now they are in a 1-3 hole. Burrow threw for just 165 yards and was sacked three times on Sunday.

While Burrow and the offense were not great, and we know why, the Bengals’ defense is more concerning.

They allowed 400 yards of offense, and Tennessee got whatever they wanted. The Titans went 8-13 on third down and averaged 6.5 yards per play.

We knew the Bengals secondary may struggle since they lost three starters, but their pass rush was off, and their run defense was not good either.

If the Bengals’ defense cannot pick it up, even as Burrow continues to get healthy, we are getting closer to sounding the panic alarms for the Bengals.

On the other hand, the Cardinals played as well as you could hope for against the 49ers on the road. They got beaten by 19, and they could not stop Christian McCaffery to save their life, but this was expected.

The Cardinals still put up 362 yards of offense, did not turn it over, and were able to run the ball on this solid 49ers front. Despite losing by 19, this was a great effort from this Cardinals team.

Now, they host the Bengals, and this is really a do-or-die spot for Cincinnati. The Cardinals are scrappy – they have played well in all four games this season, they play hard for their coaches, are prepared, and believe in themselves.

Bengals vs Cardinals Prediction: The PICK

This game opened at CIN -6 and was quickly bet down to CIN -3. There are two reasons for this. For starters, the Bengals are seriously concerning, and secondly, the Cardinals are that competent.

If this line gets below a field goal, there is value in the Bengals, but based on what we have seen these first four weeks, Cincinnati cannot be trusted to win by margin, and the Cardinals will put up a fight week in and week out.

However, this spread has ticked so low that the Bengals are now in a buy spot.
