Dolphins vs Jets Prediction: Dolphins Football Preview

The Raiders tested the Dolphins on Sunday, but Miami was able to pull out a win at home. Miami had the lead for the majority of the game, but the Raiders would not go away.

Las Vegas kept the game within one score for the most part, but Miami’s defense ended up coming out on top. The Dolphins forced three turnovers and held Las Vegas to 296 yards in the win.

This game was close because Miami turned it over three times themselves, and they missed a field goal and other scoring chances. Still, the Dolphins did all they needed to do, and they took the win.

Jets Football Preview

The Jets finally may be moving on from Zach Wilson. If you watched Wilson play football over the last few years, you wonder how it took so long for the Jets to give up on him finally.

New York put up just six points on this Bills’ team that has been getting gashed the past few weeks. New York had 155 total yards, four turnovers, went 0-11 on third down, and Wilson was sacked six times.

It was an embarrassing performance on all accounts. The defense gave up, and they allowed 393 yards to Buffalo.

The Jets have not named a starter for Friday yet, but they finally are coming around to benching Wilson. He has been horrible since he entered the NFL, and New York can blame many of their woes on him. This Jets team would be much better with average QB play, which is asking too much of Wilson.

Dolphins vs Jets Prediction: The PICK

Miami is 8-2 SU and ATS in their L10 meetings with the Jets. Those games went 7-3 to the under. Miami is 5-1 SU in their L6 games against the Jets, and five of the L6 games they have played against the Jets on the road have gone under.

Based on the state of both of these teams, it’s hard to expect Miami not to win. They should be able to run the football on the Jets, and it’s hard to imagine the Jets moving the ball on the much-improved Dolphin’s defense.

Miami may not cover the full game, but they are an amazing teaser leg this weekend. Even with Tim Boyle now under center, Miami should certainly win.
