Best Bears vs Seahawks Props #1: Sam Darnold Seattle Seahawks OVER 237.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Sam Darnold has crushed this line in 3 of 5 games on the season including each of the last two games where he recorded 257 passing yards against the Kansas City Chiefs and 278 yards against the Denver Broncos.

The Chicago Bears secondary ranks slightly below average in passing yards allowed but DEAD LAST in yards allowed per pass attempt. The Bears have also allowed the MOST receptions of 40+ yards (9) so Jaxon Smith-Njigba will have opportunities to take the top off the defense.

We have seen 2 of the last 3 opposing quarterbacks absolutely annihilate this line against Chicago as Drake Maye threw for 321 yards and Jordan Love threw for 367 yards.

Chicago has added a difference-maker in defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons (trade TEN) so the Seahawks may find it more difficult to run the ball.

Darnold’s pass attempt line is set at 30.5 (-110) and he’s gone over this line in 10 of his last 13 games (77%) when throwing the ball 28+ times good for an average of 275+ passing yards per game.

Best Bears vs Seahawks Props Tonight #2: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Seattle Seahawks OVER 99.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has absolutely dismantled this line with 102+ receiving yards in 6 of 7 games (avg 123.9/game) while landing on 76 yards in his lone under against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Now Smith-Njigba has the opportunity to feast on a Chicago Bears secondary that ranks DEAD LAST in yards allowed per pass attempt while allowing an NFL high 9 receptions of 40+ yards.

The Bears rank below average in yards allowed to opposing wide receivers with an average of 149.4 per game. We have seen several opposing wide outs eclipse their respective receiving yard lines including Jahan Dotson (87), Christian Watson (143)/Matthew Golden (123) (same game) and Isaiah Williams (73).

The Seahawks are favored by -3, and we have a modest total of 46.5, but I feel like this one still sets up as a shootout and JSN will have benefit of playing on the fast track at home.
