Portland Trail Blazers vs Philadelphia 76ers Betting Analysis
The Philadelphia 76ers continue their five game road trip in Portland against the Trail Blazers on Thursday night. The Trail Blazers lost 122-113 on the road against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night. The 76ers won their third straight game 120-110 in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
This is the first of two regular season meetings between these teams, they will meet again on March 10th in Philadelphia. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:00 PM EST/7:00 PST from the Moda Center in Portland.
Philly Looks For 4th Straight On The Road
The Philadelphia improved to 28-16 on the season after winning their third straight game against the Clippers. The 76ers had a tremendous advantage from the charity stripe as they shot 29-34 for 85.3% compared to Los Angeles going only 16-20 for 80%.
Joel Embiid led all scorers with 41 points on 12-22 from the floor along with 9 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey added 22 points off the bench while while Tobias Harris chipped in with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Sixers occupy the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference and sit 4.5 games behind the Boston Celtics. Philadelphia is middle of the pack in scoring with an average of 113.9 points a game on a 48% shooting percentage.
The Sixers are elite defensively as they rank 4th in defensive rating and 3rd in defensive scoring with only 110.2 points allowed per game. Philly currently sports a clean injury report, a breath of fresh air nowadays.

The Portland Trail Blazers fell to 21-23 on the season after losing in Denver on Tuesday. The Nuggets out-rebounded Portland 42-35, including 11-5 in offensive rebounds. Dame Lillard led all scorers with 44 points along with 8 assists while shooting 14-14 from the charity stripe.
Jerami Grant added 18 points while Jusuf Nurkic led the team in rebounds with 10. The Blazers currently sport an 11-8 record but are only 10-15 in road games. They rank 17th as they score an average of 113.3 points per game on 47.9% from the field.
Portland sits at 22nd in defensive rating and 13th in defensive scoring with 112.3 points allowed per game. Jusuf Nurkic is listed as probable with an ankle injury along with Gary Payton II while Justice Winslow remains out for this contest.

The Philadelphia 76ers are small road favorites with a point spread of 2 and a total of 233. The Sixers have been a scoring machine recently with 114+ points in 8 of their last 10 games.
