New York Knicks vs Miami Heat Betting Analysis
The playoff series between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks shifts back to the Big Apple for Game 5 on Wednesday night.
The Heat took a commanding 3-1 series lead after beating the Knicks 109-101 at home on Monday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST/4:30 PST from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Miami Heat are one win away from advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals despite having to compete in play-in tournament as an 8 seed and losing Tyler Herro in their first playoff game against the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks.
On Monday night, they survived a late Knicks rally to secure a 109-101 victory and 3-1 series advantage behind another amazing effort by Jimmy Butler. Butler scored 27 points on a 9-17 shooting performance while recording 10 assists and 6 rebounds.
Bam Adebayo also recorded a 23 point, 13 rebound double-double while Kyle Lowry chipped in with 15 points off the bench. The Heat ranked 25th in offensive efficiency, 8th in defensive efficiency and 29th in pace of play.
While expected to play, Jimmy Butler is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury. Caleb Martin and Haywood Highsmith are also both listed as questionable while Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo remain out.
Knicks Facing Elimination
The New York Knicks will stare elimination in the face as they head back to MSG after losing Game 4 and falling behind 3-1. They put up a solid effort on Monday behind a 32 point, 11 assist double-double. RJ Barrett chipped in with 24 points while Julius Randle added 20 points and 9 rebounds.
The Knicks ranked 4th in offensive efficiency, 19th in defensive efficiency and 26th in pace of play. Immanuel Quickly injured his ankle in Game 4 and is listed as doubtful for Game 5.
New York Knicks vs Miami Heat Prediction
The New York Knicks enter this contest as 4 point home favorites with a total set at 209.5. We have bounced between unders and overs on this total throughout the series with totals of 209, 216, 191 and 210 for an average of 206.5.
The under is 20-6 in the last 26 meetings between these teams in New York. The Knicks are going to clamp down defensively in an attempt to extend the series but Miami has no problem winning a rock fight.
Jalen Brunson has had the burden of trying to carry the Knicks and he will feel even more pressure with Immanuel Quickly unlikely to play.
These teams rank 26th & 29th in pace of play and defense will be the focus in an elimination game. I do think Miami will wrap-up this series but the under is the bet in what will be another low scoring affair.
