NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Tobias Harris (DET) Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-106)

All hands are on deck in Detroit tonight as the Pistons attempt to keep their first round series against Orlando alive down 3-1 going into Game 5.

The Pistons have been shell shocked, but one constant is veteran Tobias Harris. We’re going to take Harris to go over 23.5 points + rebounds averaging 26.5 points + rebounds through four games in this series so far.

Jalen Duren has been a shell of himself this series averaging just 18 points + rebounds during this series after averaging 29.5 points + rebounds during the regular season so Harris has had to pick up the slack in both statistical categories for the Pistons just to stay alive up until this point.

After Cade Cunningham’s 23 field goal attempts per game this series, Harris averages 16.3 attempts with no other Pistons player averaging more than 8.5 field goal attempts so the shot volume should be there once again tonight for the former Magic player.

With no sense of improvement looking likely for Duren, let’s take Harris to fill in the gaps once again tonight going over 23.5 points + rebounds as the Pistons look to keep the series alive at home.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jabari Smith Jr. (HOU) Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-102)

Kevin Durant is set to miss another game for the Rockets in their first round matchup against the Lakers as they also attempt to keep their series alive down 3-1 heading into Game 5.

We’ll look for Jabari Smith Jr. to make an impact going over 24.5 points + rebounds with the Rockets power forward averaging 42 minutes per game this series so far.

During the regular season he averaged 25.8 points + rebounds per 40 minutes and although he would have fell short of this line last game notching 24 points + rebounds, he shot just 4-15 from the field which we don’t see happening again.

It’s also worth noting that Smith Jr. has averaged nine three-point shots per game in this series including 10 each of the last two games so we should see him connect on a few of those tonight as well.

In three head-to-head meetings with the Lakers this regular season Smith Jr. averaged 25.4 points + rebounds so considering the volume of minutes he’s getting in this series and playing without Durant again, let’s take Smith Jr. to go over 24.5 points + rebounds as the Rockets attempt to win Game 5 in an effort to force a Game 6 in Houston on Friday.
