NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Mitchell Robinson (NYK) Over 13.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)

Backup center Mitchell Robinson doesn’t need much time on court to produce for the Knicks averaging 16.2 points + rebounds across his last five games.

We’ll take him to get over 13.5 points + rebounds tonight at Milwaukee with Robinson averaging under 20 minutes per game during that stretch.

The Bucks sit 27th in rebounding rate this season and that number only gets worse without Giannis Antetokounmpo who will once again miss tonight action.

That leaves Bobby Portis as their best rebounder with starting center Myles Turner only averaging 5.6 rebounds per game and backup center Jericho Sims at 4.7 rebounds per game.

Sure, Mitchell isn’t gifted offensively and his free throw shooting is poor at best but he does often get left open as a result of that averaging 69.4% shooting for the season and 75% shooting this month while averaging five shot attempts per game over his last three.

Among all players Robinson sits fourth in offensive rebounds per game at 4.5 which can often translate to easy put back buckets.

Robinson is coming off an 11 points 16 rebound effort against the Cavaliers who sit ninth in rebounding rate and 11th in defensive efficiency so let’s take Robinson to stay active in the paint against a Bucks that’s not as great inside going over 13.5 points + rebounds on Friday night.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) Over 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (+100)

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is set to make his return to action tonight after missing the last nine games due to an abdominal strain.

We don’t think it will take him long to get back into the swing of things going against a Nuggets team who SGA went against in the second to last game before his injury on February 1st.

In that game Gilgeous-Alexander had 18 rebounds + assists and in his last five games before injury he averaged 13 rebounds + assists with the Nuggets giving up rebounds and assists to opposing point guards as of late including Brandin Podziemski (24) and Kris Dunn (16).

We know at this point the Thunder have enough offensive role players across the board to get SGA his assists and it’s worth noting that both Jamal Murray and Jalen Pickett are questionable for Denver heading in and should they miss or be limited in anyway it will improve SGA’s chances of filling up the stat sheet.

With SGA eager to get back on the court and averaging 12.8 rebounds + assists in his last six games against Denver, let’s take him to go over 10.5 rebounds + assists at home on Friday.
