NBA Player Prop for Tuesday, November 4
Jimmy Butler (GSW) Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds vs Phoenix (-125)
Jimmy Butler has gone over 25.5 points + rebounds in the Warriors’ last three games, and this should be a good matchup for him to keep that run going.
The Suns have allowed the second-most points and fourth-most rebounds to opposing small forwards this season. Golden State is coming off back-to-back road losses at Milwaukee and Indiana, so we’re anticipating a strong bounce-back performance from the Warriors in this one. The Suns are bottom-five in rebounding rate so far this year and Golden State will be playing without Al Horford, which should also keep some rebound opportunities open for Butler.
Phoenix has allowed 133 points per game on the road with all three of the Suns’ road games going over the total, so there will be opportunities to fill the stat sheet. In three games against the Suns last season, Butler shot 58-percent from the floor. Butler is shooting 90-percent from the free throw line and 50-percent (9-of-18) from three-point range thus far.
NBA Betting Trends for Tuesday, November 4
#501 Milwaukee Bucks at #502 Toronto Raptors
The Bucks have won-and-covered each of the last four meetings, including a 122-116 road win in Toronto on October 24. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 31 points and 20 rebounds on 11-of-14 shooting from the floor in that contest. Each of the last three meetings have gone over the total. Milwaukee is on the second leg of a back-to-back after a 117-115 road win in Indiana on Monday.
#503 Orlando Magic at #504 Atlanta Hawks
Atlanta earned a 111-107 road win in Orlando on October 24 as a six-point ‘dog. This will be the seventh meeting between the Hawks and Magic since February, which is quite a bit of familiarity in a short amount of time between two teams that weren’t involved in a playoff series. The under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings, and that first contest in Orlando stayed under the total by 17.5 points. This is the final game of a five-game roadtrip for the Magic, who are looking to end it on a high note after losing the first two but winning the last two. The Magic have been favored in every game so far this season, but they are just 2-5 against the number.
#505 Charlotte Hornets at #506 New Orleans Pelicans
New Orleans has won five of the last six meetings. Four of the last five have stayed under the total, including both of last year’s meetings. Charlotte’s last three games have each stayed under the total. The Pelicans are still searching for their first win of the season, but to be fair, New Orleans has been a sizable underdog in every game they have played thus far. When your first six opponents are the Grizzlies, Spurs, Celtics, Nuggets, Clippers and Thunder, New Orleans isn’t the only team in the league that would go winless to start the season.
#507 Philadelphia 76ers at #508 Chicago Bulls
The road team won-and-covered all four meetings last season. The Sixers won the first two in Chicago, then the Bulls returned the favor with a pair of wins in Philadelphia after the All-Star break. Eight of the last nine meetings have stayed under the total. The Sixers have covered the spread in four-straight games. The over has cashed in five of Philadelphia’s first six contests. The Bulls had their five-game winning streak snapped with a road loss to the Knicks on Sunday. The Bulls’ last four games have all gone over the total.
#509 Phoenix Suns at #510 Golden State Warriors
Over the last two seasons, the Suns have gone 5-3 straight-up, 6-2 against the spread in this Western Conference clash. Golden State returns home after an unsuccessful two-game roadtrip to the Midwest that resulted in two losses to the Bucks and Pacers. The over is 5-2 in the Suns’ games this season, including 3-0 on the road.
#511 Oklahoma City Thunder at #512 Los Angeles Clippers
Oklahoma City swept the four-game series last year with three of those contests staying under the total. The Thunder are still unbeaten this season, but that run will be put to the test this week as Oklahoma City embarks on a four-game West Coast roadtrip. The Clippers are on the second leg of a back-to-back after falling at home to Miami on Monday. Oklahoma City’s last five opponents have scored an average of 101.8 points per game.
