Expert NBA Player Props for Thursday: Jalen Brunson, Knicks OVER 30.5 Points (-110)

This is a do or die game for the New York Knicks and you have to figure that Jalen Brunson will be firing away plenty of shots in an attempt to extend the Eastern Conference Finals.

Brunson has scored 31+ points in 3 of the first 4 games of this series including both games at Madison Square Garden where he’s scored 43 and 36 points on 18 and 19 field goal attempts.

The crowd at MSG has motivated Brunson as he’s covered this line 5 of 8 postseason games during this current run.

Karl-Anthony Towns is currently listed as questionable for this contest, but we should fully expect him to play.

However, KATs effectiveness is in question and there’s no guarantee on his minutes which could put even more of the scoring ownness on Brunson.

The Pacers aren’t going to be changing their defensive game plan so Brunson will continue to see 1-on-1 coverage.

Brunson has a ridiculous usage rate in this series (36.5%) and when he’s seen a usage rate higher than 36%, he’s averaged 37.3 points per game.
