Daily NBA Prop Picks from GoldSheet

Best NBA Prop Pick #1: Deandre Ayton (LAL) Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-118)

Deandre Ayton is off a 25 point 13 rebound performance in a 110-93 home win over the Raptors as he and the Lakers head to Denver to take on the Nuggets tonight.

Ayton went 10-10 from the field that game as we’ll look for him to go over 22.5 points + rebounds as the Nuggets still search for consistent interior presence with both Nikola Jokic and Jonas Valanciunas still sidelined by injury.

As a result Denver has given up the sixth most points per game and tenth most rebounds per game to centers over the last 15 days which includes 24 points + rebounds given up to Wizards center Alex Sarr three days ago.

Ayton has been averaging 25.5 points + rebounds per game in road games this season with the Nuggets ranking bottom six in defensive efficiency this season and bottom half of the league in rebounding rate which includes the eighth most offensive rebounds per game given up as well.

We’ll look for Ayton to be active in the paint once again tonight going over 22.5 points + rebounds against the Nuggets tonight.

Best NBA Prop Pick #2: Steph Curry (GSW) Over 28.5 Points (-112)

The Warriors seek revenge tonight against a Raptors team that beat them 141-127 in Overtime back on Dec. 28th in which Steph Curry poured in 39 points on 12-30 from the field and 11-11 from the free throw line.

We’re going to take Curry to go over 28.5 points tonight as it’s worth noting that Jimmy Butler will likely miss this game after sustaining a knee injury in last night’s 135-112 home win against the Heat.

This will likely force Curry to pick up some of his offensive workload if the Warriors want to come away with a win.

The Raptors have given up the third most points and third most three-pointers made per game to point guards over the last 15 days and given up the eighth least points in the paint this season.

Curry has averaged 36.5 ppg in the last two games in which he was playing the second of a back-to-back so let’s take him to lead the Warriors in scoring tonight going over 28.5 points against the Raptors at home.
