NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Nikola Jokic, Nuggets OVER 26.5 Points (-120) DK
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is averaging 26.2 points per game while clearing this line in 23 of 44 games for a 52% success rate.
Joker has been in great scoring form recently with 31+ points in each of his last three games including a 42-point performance against the Washington Wizards two games ago.
He’s also scored 27+ points in 7 of his last 10 games, falling just short with 25 points twice. The New York Knicks actually do an amazing job limiting opposing centers scoring but they may be forced into playing small ball tonight as Isaiah Hartenstein is questionable with Achilles injury.
The spread tonight is only -2 so Jokic should see the full minutes necessary to clear this number and he’s been just as consistent on the road with 27+ points in 12 of 23 road games. Look for Joker to put on a show tonight at Madison Square Garden.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: John Collins, Jazz OVER 20.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125) DK
Utah Jazz center John Collins has averaged 13.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists for an average of 22.4 Points + Rebounds + Assists through the 41 games of the season.
Collins has cleared this PRA line in 28 of those 41 games for a 68% success rate including 7 of the last 10 games.
This a dream matchup as the Washington Wizards allow the MOST points (27.39/game) and MOST rebounds (18.73/game) to opposing centers.
Wizards starting center Daneil Gafford is an extremely vulnerable defender and he’s allowed an opposing center to clear this total in 18 of the last 19 games.
The Wizards are also playing on a back-to-back after playing a physical team in the Minnesota Timberwolves last night.
Rudy Gobert abused the Wizards for 19 points and 16 rebounds in that game with an assist to boot. The Jazz are favored by 7.5 but we should avoid the blowout as the Jazz tend to play better at home and the total is 245.5 so we should see plenty of scoring opportunities.
This seems like an awfully low PRA line for Collins to clear assuming he gets his normal 24+ minutes per game.
