Michael Porter Jr has scored 25+ points in three straight games and 4 of his last 5 games while averaging 26.8 points per game.

In two games since Cam Thomas went down with a hamstring injury, Porter Jr has averaged 26.5 points on 17.5 field goal attempts per game while logging 33% usage rate across 29 minutes.

His minutes floor is pretty safe as he’s recently played through 18- and 36-point blowouts. The Toronto Raptors have struggled against opposing small forwards as they have allowed the 8th most points with an average of 25.4 per game.

The Raptors also rank 22nd in spot up defense (26% of his Pts) and 28th in defense at the rim (27% of his Pts).

Porter Jr has also scored 44% of his points from beyond the arc and he’s been firing away with 9 and 10 three-point attempts in his last two games.

The books are fully expecting plenty of production form long distance as his line is set at 3.5 (+130 to over) or 2.5 with ridiculously heavy juice. MPJ basically has the green light from anywhere on the court as the Nets absolutely need his production.
