We’re going to take him to hit his home run props tonight with the Reds sending lefty Andrew Abbott to the mound. Abbott has allowed 24 home runs in total this season with six of those coming across his last three starts in just nine innings pitched.

Hernandez has had ample success against lefties this season so far batting .304 against them while slugging .548 compared to righties batting .250 and slugging just .384.

After home runs in back-to-back games against Cincinnati Hernandez is now 9-15 against them on the season with three home runs and 10 RBIs.

Both the home run and RBI total are the highest among any team Hernandez has gone against this season. Albies smacked a two-run home run in last night’s 6-3 win and although only two of his home runs have come over the last 30 days, he’s 5-12 with two home runs all-time against Imanaga.

Against lefties this season Albies is batting .274 and slugging .439 against lefties compared to righties batting just .226 and slugging .389.

It’s also worth noting that the Cubs pitching staff as a whole has allowed the third most home runs over the last 15 days and the bullpen specifically has allowed the third most home runs on the season.
