MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Rafael Devers, Giants OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)

Rafael Devers has only covered this line in 4 of his last 8 games but he’s riding a four-game hitting streak where he’s logged two home runs.

Devers has been a Cardinals-killer with 2+ HRR in 9 of his last 11 head-to-head games where he’s averaged 3.9 HRR and 3.2 total bases per game.

Now Devers gets another crack at Sonny Gray who he’s gone 5-18 (.278) with a home run, a double and 7 RBI.

Gray is coming off a quality outing, but he’s been giving up a ton of hits, and he’s struggled on the where he’s posted an ugly 5.11 ERA.

The Cardinals starting pitcher is backed by a bullpen that was dismantled at the trade deadline as Ryan Helsley (closer), Phil Maton and Steven Matz have all left town.

Gray relies heavily on his fastball & breaking pitch (combined 91.5%) and Devers has posted a barrel rate over 15.7% against both of those pitches. Let’s look for Devers to expose some suspect pitching tonight in San Francisco.

MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Mickey Moniak, Rockies OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+120)

Mickey Moniak has covered this HRR line in 6 of his last 8 games while launching five home runs (7 XBH) in the process.

Moniak has thrived against right-handed pitching, posting a .276 batting average & .550 slugging percentage and 23 of his 24 home runs have come against righties.

Now Moniak gets another opportunity to feast on Luis Castillo who he’s gone 4-14 (.286) against with two home runs and four RBI.

Castillo has actually been in good form, but he hasn’t been as good against left-handed batters who have hit .282 against him with a .473 slugging percentage.

The Mariners do have a strong bullpen, but Moniak has thrived against a couple of their key arms, going 1-3 with a home run against Andres Munoz (closer) and 1-2 with a double against Luke Jackson.

Obviously Moniak has taken advantage of Coors Field, but he’s still hit 9 home runs on the road, and I think his home run prop could be worth a sprinkle at +460 on DK
