He went 3-3 yesterday against Chicago moving his season average against them to .353 while slugging .588 as well on the year.

Chisholm Jr’s 31 home runs this season are the most he’s had in a single season all-time with 17 of them coming at home while slugging .550 on the season compared to the other 14 being hit on the road while slugging .432.

Scherzer’s struggles this season overall have been more due to left-handed bats allowing a .256 average and .540 slugging percentage to lefties compared to a .244 average and .420 slugging percentage against righties.

Although Abreu will finish this season with less games played than 2024 he already has seven more home runs than he did last season marking a career high for home runs in a season.

With the Red Sox firmly entrenched in the AL Wildcard hunt look for Abreu to hit his home run prop tonight with odds listed at +320.
