We’re going to take the valuable odds for Vargas to hit his home run props tonight after blasting 33 home runs this regular season. Righty Gavin Williams gets the start for Cleveland and while his numbers look good on the surface, he did allow 28 home runs this season with 14 of them coming against left handed batters.

All-time against Williams, Vargas is 6-14 with a home run and against the Guardians this season Vargas batted .304 to go along with a .565 slugging percentage including three home runs.

With spirits still high in the White Sox locker room after three-straight post season wins, let’s take Vargas to snap out of his mini slump and cash his home run props tonight at +590. Other White Sox to look at for home run props includes Munetaka Murakami (+410) and Colson Montgomery (+570).

Best MLB Home Run Prop Today #2: Luis Garcia Jr. (NYY) +490

The Yankees were dominated by Drew Rasmussen in Game 1 of their ALDS series losing 1-0, but should have an easier time getting the bat on the ball in Game 2 with the Rays sending Freddy Peralta to the mound for tonight’s start.

With that, we’re going to take Luis Garcia Jr. to cash his home run props tonight who belted 13 of his 30 home runs on the road this season although he sported a .523 slugging percentage on the road compared to a .520 slugging percentage at home.

He hit 27 of his 30 home runs off right handed pitching this season with Peralta allowing 17 of his 23 home runs to left handed hitters like Garcia Jr. this season while also allowing a .439 slugging percentage to them compared to a .366 slugging percentage to right handed hitters.

Sure, Peralta was sharp to end the regular season but in 15.1 innings pitched with the Brewers last season he allowed five home runs and has allowed seven post season home runs altogether in 33.1 career post season innings pitched.

All-time against Peralta, Garcia Jr. is 3-12 with two doubles with Garcia Jr. already mashing a home run in their AL Wildcard series against the Red Sox. Take Garcia Jr. at +490 to hit his home run props tonight with other Yankees to consider for home run props includes Ben Rice (+340) and Spencer Jones (+420).
