NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Paolo Banchero (ORL) Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-122)

The Pistons had no answers for Paolo Banchero in Game 1 as the Orlando power forward notched 32 points + rebounds on 8-15 shooting including 2-4 from three-point range.

We think he’s going to keep the Magic in Game 2 going over 28.5 points + rebounds on Wednesday night.

In three regular season games against the Pistons Banchero averaged 35.3 points + rebounds on 52% shooting while averaging a whopping 14 free throw attempts per game which is a key statistic to remember with Detroit giving up the most free throw attempts per game this season.

Banchero averaged 8.4 free throw attempts per game this season so expect multiple trips to the charity stripe once again for Banchero which will increase our chances of cashing this play.

Banchero was the leading rebounder for the Magic in Game 1 and wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case once again tonight. Banchero averaged 37.8 points + rebounds in their 4-1 series loss to Boston last season so he’s no stranger to putting up numbers against great defensive teams.

With that, let’s take Banchero to be a the driving force on both sides of the floor for Orlando going over 28.5 points + rebounds in Game 2 in Detroit.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jalen Williams (OKC) Over 9.5 Rebounds + Assists (-145)

In 29 minutes Jalen Williams racked up 13 rebounds + assists as the Thunder mauled the Suns in Game 1 119-84. We’re expecting the same kind of all-around production from Williams as we’ll look for him to go over 9.5 rebounds + assists in Game 2.

In four games against the Suns in the regular season Williams averaged 10.6 rebounds + assists per game and across his last six games overall he’s averaging 11.3 rebounds + assists per game.

We already know Williams can easily surpass this number in a blowout situation which very well could happen again tonight, but we do expect the Suns to put up somewhat of a better fight tonight which could mean Williams’ minutes getting up into the low-mid 30s.

Per 40 minutes this season Williams has averaged 14.2 rebounds + assists per game so let’s take the Thunder small forward to get up and over 9.5 rebounds + assists in Game 2 against Phoenix.
