The Magic and Heat are two of the hottest teams in the NBA heading into tonight with the Hawks sitting 2.5 games back of the Magic in the Southeast Division.

Small forward Dyson Daniels has been a crucial part in Atlanta’s success as we’ll look at him to go over 11.5 rebounds + assists on Monday night.

He has averaged 13.4 rebounds + assists in five March games with the Magic allowing the second most rebounds per game to small forwards over the last 30 days.

Daniels is averaging 32 minutes per game this month while shooting 62% from the field and although scoring isn’t a part of this specific player prop, it will give head coach Quin Snyder more reason to play him more minutes with Daniels averaging 15.4 rebounds + assists per 40 minutes which is the highest he’s seen in one season so far in his four-year career.

It’s also worth noting that Atlanta sits first in assists ratio on the season. With that, let’s look at Daniels to be the x-factor in tonight’s Magic vs Hawks matchup going over 11.5 rebounds + assists in Atlanta in a crucial Southeast Division game.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jayson Tatum (BOS) Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)

It’s been a solid return for Jayson Tatum so far for the Celtics who are 3-1 straight up since his return. They’ll host Phoenix tonight who has given up the ninth most points and second most rebounds per game to power forwards over the last 30 days.

We think that’s enough to propel Tatum over 28.5 points + rebounds tonight, averaging 28.3 points + rebounds per game in his four games this season.

After playing 27 minutes each in his first three games, Tatum played 32 minutes against Washington on Saturday so perhaps we’ll see another 30+ minute effort tonight after averaging 36 minutes per game played last season.

Sure, Tatum is averaging only 40% shooting so far in his short time this season, but that should only improve as he continues to shake the rust off not to mention his 27% three-point mark as well.

Tatum is still taking 19 field goal attempts per game and that’s enough for us to take him over 28.5 points + rebounds tonight in what should be a competitive game against the Suns.
